Well my friend, we met in my blog ...
This time I will discuss about the time in the english
The first is the use of the word am and pm means am and pm are as follows:

a.m = ante Meredian
p.m = post Meredian

am used to a 12 midnight => (00:00 to 11:59)
pm is used for a 12 day => (12:00 to 23:59)

The second is hour hand, the minute hand and hour hand
the minute hand is a long needle
hour hand is a short needle

to (less / to) 

half (30 minutes or 1/2 hour)  

quarters (15 minutes atau1 / 4 hours)

past

examples:  

A.to

1.50
American style: This one      fifty
                                  hour   minutes
British style: It's ten  to    two
                             hour     minutes

B.half

 8:30
American style: It's eight-thirty
British style: It's half-past eight

C. quarter

12:15
American style: It's twelve fifteen
british style: It's a quarter past twelve

D. past

Used to assist in the above sentences
